The Alameda Creek Watershed Council meets bi-monthly. Meetings alternate between east and west County locations. We hold field tours and training sessions on alternate months. -SFEI’s Robin Grossinger about the results of their just completed Alameda Creek Historical Ecology Study
-Lynna Allen (City of Livermore) and Patti Cole (LARPD) on the new Adopt-A-Creek Spot program for the Tri-Valley area
-Brenda Buxton (State Coastal Conservancy) with an update on the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration
-Barbara Silva, City of Fremont on Sabrecat Creek Public Access and Riparian Habitat Improvements
-Janet Sowers, Fugro Consultants, Inc. on the geology and geomorphology of the watershed

Breaking News!!! We’ll be having a short walking tour following lunch of Dublin’s new Alamo Canal Trail Under I-580, now under construction and adjacent to the library. It connects the south end of the Dublin/EBRPD Alamo Canal Trail to the Pleasanton system on the south side of the freeway.

PLEASE BRING POSTERS of your current or recently completed projects for display! We will also have table space available for handouts. Sharing information is encouraged, so during the lunch break there will be time to peruse these materials and talk to staff involved in the projects.

Note: The Dublin Public Library is a 1.3 mile walk from the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station (bus and taxi connections are available), and is close to the Hopyard Road/Dougherty Road exit from 580.
