The Alameda Creek Watershed Council meets bi-monthly.  Meetings alternate between east and west County locations.   We hold field tours and training sessions on alternate months.   Please contact Elke Rank at 925-454-5005 or erank@zone7water.com if you have suggestions for meeting topics, trainings, and/or field tours.

-SFEI’s Robin Grossinger about the results of their just completed Alameda Creek Historical Ecology Study

-Lynna Allen (City of Livermore) and Patti Cole (LARPD) on the new Adopt-A-Creek Spot program for the Tri-Valley area

-Brenda Buxton (State Coastal Conservancy) with an update on the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration

-Barbara Silva, City of Fremont on Sabrecat Creek Public Access and Riparian Habitat Improvements

-Janet Sowers, Fugro Consultants, Inc. on the geology and geomorphology of the watershed

- IRWMP update

Breaking News!!! We’ll be having a short walking tour following lunch of Dublin’s new Alamo Canal Trail Under I-580, now under construction and adjacent to the library. It connects the south end of the Dublin/EBRPD Alamo Canal Trail to the Pleasanton system on the south side of the freeway.

Note: The Dublin Public Library is a 1.3 mile walk from the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station (bus and taxi connections are available), and is close to the Hopyard Road/Dougherty Road exit from 580.
