The Alameda Creek Watershed Council meets bi-monthly.  Meetings alternate between east and west County locations. 
 
Mark your calendars!  In 2010, we expect to meet on the 4th Thursdays monthly.  We hope to have field tours and training sessions on alternate months.   Please contact Elke Rank at 925-454-5005 or erank@zone7water.com if you have suggestions for meeting topics, trainings, and/or field tours.

Upcoming Meetings for August and October

The next ACWC meeting will be on, Thursday, August 26, 2010 - Tour of the Eden Landing Ponds restoration area at the mouth of Old Alameda Creek. Note: there should be many birds (and waterfowl) to see as the fall migration begins; we’ll have Audubon birders on with us to help i.d. them…. bring your binoculars! Also, the 2nd Annual ACWC Photo Contest has begun, so get your camera ready. Deadline to submit photos for the contest is September 15th, 2010. The photos will be judged at the ACWC Annual Meeting in October, and then displayed on our webpage. Please click here for more details.
