Hands-On-Conservation
What is "Hands-On-Conservation"? A county-wide educational program sponsored by the Conservation Partnership that provides opportunities for youth to learn about natural resources conservation through active participation in stewardship and agriculture enhancement activities on public and private property.
Funding for program development and implementation is being provided through key project partnerships with the Clean Water Division of the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (ACFC&WCD), CALFED, and other sources.

We have filled our Part-Time Watershed Outreach Intern position for Fall 2011 to assist with Hands-on-Conservation Program work days, and stormwater pollution prevention Outreach events. Please check back for future internship opportunites.
